JANESVILLE — A former employee has sued Woodman’s Food Market in Lakemoor, Ill., claiming she was fired for taking time off while being treated for cancer.

In a recent legal filing with the United States District Court of the Northern District of Illinois, Suzanne Jordan alleged disability discrimination, failure to accommodate her medical needs and retaliation after requesting accommodations.
